Welcome to Promptr for AI. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our browser extension and web application. By creating an account or using Promptr, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Promptr for AI ("Promptr" or "the Service") is a browser extension and web application that helps teams and individuals save, organize, and reuse AI contexts, instructions, and prompts. The Service is provided by Boon IT SRL, a company registered in Romania.

The browser extension is available for Chrome and Firefox, with support for additional browsers as announced. The extension integrates with third-party AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

2. Account Requirements

To use Promptr, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Create an account using email and password or Google OAuth
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us at support@promptr.ai.

3. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in Promptr — including workspaces, spaces, blocks, and tags.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account, subject to reasonable backup retention periods as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you store in Promptr. You represent that you have the right to use and store any content you upload, and that your content does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload or store malicious content, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its connected systems
• Harass, abuse, or infringe on the rights of other users
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

5. Subscription and Billing

Promptr offers a free plan and paid plans. Current pricing is available at promptr.ai/pricing. Payments and billing are handled by Polar.sh, our merchant of record.

Renewals: Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.

Refunds: If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription, contact us at support@promptr.ai within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal for a refund. After 14 days, refunds are not available for the current billing period.

Price changes: We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at your next renewal — not mid-cycle. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

6. Beta and Preview Features

We may offer features labeled as "beta," "preview," or "experimental." These features are provided as-is, may change or be discontinued without notice, and may not be as reliable as generally available features. Your use of beta features is at your own risk.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Promptr integrates with third-party AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others). We are not responsible for those platforms, their availability, or their terms of service. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Changes to third-party platforms may affect Promptr's functionality. We will work to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted integration with any third-party service.

8. Intellectual Property

Promptr — including its design, features, source code, documentation, and branding — is owned by Boon IT SRL. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent, except as needed to accurately describe your use of the Service.

9. Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@promptr.ai. Upon closure, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, engage in conduct that harms us or other users, or fail to pay for a subscription after reasonable notice. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation before termination.

Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will retain data only as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in the EU.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boon IT SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business opportunity, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boon IT SRL from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union regulations.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. If mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise, those laws apply.

Before filing a legal claim, we encourage you to contact us at support@promptr.ai so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

14. General

Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Boon IT SRL regarding the Service.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

Assignment: We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights without our consent.

Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or third-party service failures.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

No agency: Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and us.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may close your account before they take effect.
